Betselot is a happy 7-year-old girl whose smile lights up every room. Originally from the Ethiopian countryside, she came to Addis Ababa with family members who were seeking a better life in the city. Tragically, she became separated from her mother shortly after arriving, and despite best efforts, they were unable to be successfully reunited.

For a time, Betselot survived alone on the streets until some kind strangers stepped in and helped connect her with local authorities. She was taken to a government-run orphanage where she stayed for several months before being welcomed into our BeMore Girls Home.

Since arriving, Betselot has blossomed. She’s full of laughter, always playing with the other girls, and brings a contagious sense of joy to the home. Please consider supporting Betselot on her new path to the safe, loving, and bright future she deserves!
