Nardos is a thoughtful and sweet 8-year-old girl who recently joined our BeMore Girls Home. She came from a rural region of Ethiopia marked by deep poverty and widespread hardship. Much of Nardos’ early story remains unclear, both to us and to her. She struggles to remember details about her family and background, and the government-run orphanage where she stayed before joining our home has limited information as well.

What we do know is that Nardos was brought to the city by family members who were unable to care for her, hoping she might find a better life in Addis Ababa. She is a darling girl - calm, witty, and incredibly sweet. 

Though much of her past is still uncertain, Nardos now has the chance to build a new future - one filled with stability, love, and opportunity. With the support of a sponsor, she will receive the care, education, and encouragement she needs to thrive and grow into all she is meant to be.
